I'm currently working for a SME with about 100 or so users. My previous position was with a much larger (3000 users) Company that was spread across two countries and had reasonably mature security practices.I'm trying to introduce some of those practices h. What is the "best" way to grant internet access to users Best Practices & General IT.We been deploying 2FA for our clients, mainly for their workstations due to insurance and extra security. So far we haven't had a issue with desktops but wondering if anyone done it with their servers, especially a domain controlller. Has Anyone Enabled 2FA for A Domain Controller (Using Duo)? Security.I would check your NAT rules or any load balancing. Sounds alot to me like there are some issues with the connection of Site B.I agree. Since Sites C & D are having no issues then there should not be a problem with the mail server, or the connection to Site A. I would start by testing the internet line to site B. Sounds alot to me like there are some issues with the connection of Site B. Sites C and D use the same ISP and located in the same country as Site A.
Other external users (say Sites C and D) access the same mail server without any complaints using Outlook client. On the contrary, users on the internal network where the mail server is located (say Site A) have no issues. Even to open OWA using browser is so slow but once it is opened, you will find that the mailboxes are up to date. Mails sent usually cue up in Outbox folder.
At times the outlook will update and at times it wouldn't. For users in this site (say Site B), their outlook do not update. That does not explain the problems that are similar that I am reading about on this forum. I did recently sign up for the mail and I heard that this acount acts as a server to Outlook and has been a source of problems. I have deleted and reinstalled the email account that isn't recieving inbound mail, and the same symptoms exist.
I have had Office Trouble shooter test the install and there were 3 errors that were corrected but still the problem exists. I have all 3 accounts operating on my Windows Phone and the mail recieves perfectly from all 3 accounts to my windows phone. I went on line and all inbound email is stored in my account on the providers email server. It is the account that is used to to sign on to my service providers server. I also have a Windows Live Account which sends and receives. Not even the test email for the one account returns. I have been plagued with the problem of not being able to recieve emails on ONE of TWO pop 3 email accounts in my Outlook 2007.
